Agii Apostoli is located 4 km from the centre of Chania to the west on the road Chania - Platanias, just next to the area of Chrissi Akti. It is a recreational place for citizens and tourists, as it comprises of three sandy beaches. A small peninsula forms two small gulfs ideal for swimming for both adults and children alike due to it's calm waters. It is believed that Agii Apostoli area, in ancient times, was a nautical station, while archeological foundings in the caves confirm the presence of ancient human inhabitance.
